Project Description
Following several major refurbishment projects for Kent Science Park, we were delighted to be chosen for the ‘first entirely new buildings’ at Kent Science Park.
The new 22,600 sq.ft. technology units, initially valued at £1.8m, were completed within the 30 week programme.
Additional tenant fit-out works extended the final account to £2.1m and the contract period to 36 weeks. This ‘design and construct’ contract included challenges with:
· Greater crested newt mitigation works
· Accommodating protection zone I and II and other ground water measures as the site is over a significant aquifer.
